Shameless Rip Off

Let us begin by saying we are worthless, no-good plagiarizers. We rarely have enough creativity to come up with our own ideas, so we have to steal good ones from our friends. Our friend Katie gets credit for this one. After seeing her fake yearbook photos we had to try it out for ourselves, and some of them were too good to go unshared. By the way, it took a lot of cajoling to get Jen to agree to post her photos (she's not a fan of most of them), so consider yourselves lucky to see them. We hope these are worth a laugh or two.

Jimmy the Gymnastic Jumping Bug

Jimmy the Gymnastic Jumping Bug was a phenom. His high-flying acrobatics astounded audiences everywhere. He was on the fast track to the Bug-Olympics. Yes, everything seemed to be going Jimmy's way until that fateful day . . .

Mmmmmm

You know when you were a kid and your mom let you lick the beaters? You would always beg her. You'd try to sneak a taste when she turned her back. And when she finally relented and let you have a beater of your own, it almost tasted better than the final product? Some things don't change.

Eric's Creation

Lately Eric has developed a fascination with a Garfield website. Several days ago when we woke up we found that Eric had logged onto the computer and discovered a comic-making feature that we were unaware of. He had independently created this comic. We thought it was pretty cute, so we decided to show it off. It is difficult to read the text, because it is so small, but hopefully you can read it if you double click on the image and view it in full size.

Someday...

I feel like I have sounded like a Wells Fargo commercial lately. Don't get me wrong, I feel very blessed to be in a nice apartment in a great ward. However, it can be difficult, especially when I am awakened at 5:30 in the morning to the sound of our children playing 'Go Fish' in the room that they share (they weren't even using the same deck of cards, it was pretty funny...the next day). So, these are some of the things that keep me going. Someday...a lawn,

Enough matching, pretty dishes to entertain more than 2 people at a time,

And enough counter space to actually cook a complete meal without having to clean up after each step. If I had a kitchen like this, I think I would be motivated to cook a LOT more, wouldn't you?
