Isaac, Jen and Jake came to visit us in Arizona for spring break this week. Isaac has always been a guy who likes to have fun and have it now, so we tried to have some exciting activities lined up. Unfortunately, its hard to find opportunities for excitement and adventure that are toddler-friendly, allow for a two-hour nap session in the early afternoon, and wrap up by 7:30 in the evening.
That means the types of activities that make impressive blog material just didn't pan out this week, but we managed to have a great time anyway.
We made the rounds at several local parks, where the kids played to their hearts' content. We took an afternoon dip in the pool--the weather was nice, but the pool was a bit on the cool side. We played a round of mini-golf (By the way, Alec won handily. In your face Isaac), had some great mexican food in Guadalupe, when shopping at an outlet mall, and went on a mini-train ride.
The adults even managaed to have a little fun after the kids were in bed, playing some board games and going out to eat one night.

"Ho-hum vacation"? That sounds perfect to me! I loved the beautiful pictures and envy you the shorts and t-shirts. Spring just refuses to show its face up here. Your kids are cute as ever.

I can tell that Eric and Jake are cousins. They look similar. How fun to have family visit. You get visitors a lot. Lucky you! The kids are so cute.
