Halloween Costumes

As we were going through our kids' Halloween bags, collecting our 50% commission for transportation, costume design, and supervision, we realized that we hadn't posted Halloween pictures yet. We had a hard time getting good pictures of the kids' Halloween costumes this year, but we may have managed one or two cute ones. For bonus points, answer the poll at the upper right.

You guys have the best blog. I loved the costumes and even your dinner! Good job! What a good mom and dad you are. I love the "commission" concept for raiding the candy baskets too!

We've been waiting for pictures. We had high expectations for these costumes... and we weren't disappointed. Eric and Lil both looked great! Cute little Halloween food too!

That is a great dinner spread!

I love the costumes! I thought about dressing Elise up as Dorothy as well. It's a cute one.

The tornado is hilarious! Did you make that?

What creative costumes. Did you make them yourself? How fitting to have Dorothy and a tornado. Cute cute.

Yes, I made the costumes. Luckily, they were pretty easy.

We have never actually put a title to it and called it "commission", but chances are after all thats left in the pumkins is wrappers--i'm sure i came out of it with more candy than the kids did. I am so impressed with your halloween dinner, do you do that every year, or do you change it up? You are the coolest mom ever.

Here I am, commenting again. You MADE the costumes? Jen, you are amazing. I can't even sew a button back on a shirt. (Really, I can't. Ask Scott.)

man, I wish we had taken Eve Trick or Treating so that we could collect some commission...like 100%. But we knew that people would have known that an 8 1/2 month old was not gonna be eating candy. And they would have figured us out...
I love Eric's costume. It is very creative and that dinner looks yummy.

Hey, so I found your blog from Julie's. Holy cow, are you wonderwoman? You save lives, make costumes, bake like nobody's business, and still have time to be nice to the new girl. Impressive! Your family is so cute! Thanks for being so nice to us.

How cool are you! I think we had sandwiches for Halloween. Peanut butter sandwiches, not even cut like pumpkins or anything, lol.

Anyway, I LOVE the costumes. I totally knew Eric was a tornado. That ROCKS! Lily's the cutest blonde Dorothy I've ever seen ;)
