Lewis Spring Break!

This past week was spring break for Eric and it coincided perfectly with Steve's ASU interview and SUU's spring break. This meant that Grandma and Grandpa Lewis, Steve, and Katie all took a trip to visit us in Phoenix. It was warm enough to swim, which made the kids VERY happy!

We also took a walk at the Riparian Preserve to see the birds and feed the ducks.

Dad, is that the infamous 'Matterhorn hat' or just its newer cousin? Must be the latter because it doesn't look smashed enough to be the former.

Dad, Steve, and Katie also took Eric to a Spring Training baseball game, which he loved--once he got a hot dog, that is. They had great seats down near the field, but Eric thinks the best seats are near the top, so that was a minor setback. While they were gone, mom, Lily, and I went to a local quilt show at a little Museum, then to the Bosch store and a quilting shop. We found Japanese Katsu Don for dad and ate at Bucca di Beppo's with everyone. As always, they were so generous and I am sure they spent more money on us than we spent hosting them! Thanks again for visiting--we love you. And to all of you suffering from cold weather during spring break, you know where to go next year, right? 'Nuf said.

I just love family events, and your family knows how to do them just right! I'm so glad you got to spend some QT with them, it looks like you all had fun!
Love you!
PS, expect us next November. We'll be there until March. You've been warned.

Yeah, it's called Florida. The beach. The sun. The water. Spring Break is best in Florida.

Anyhow, looks like you had a great time. It is always so nice to be with family.

It really was so much fun! Thanks again for letting me stay with you! I hope you know that I sleep on the top of a bunk bed already, so when I crawled onto Eric's creaky IKEA bed, I felt right at home. :)

I love getting together with family! My parents are going to Utah for Conference so I think we will go down and see them. It seems like family get togethers never happen enough!
