For all of you math whizzes out there, here is an equation I would like you to solve.
Tired Mother after work + Frozen beef patties + pointy-tipped knife =
Answer: A two hour trip to urgent care despite said tired mother's protestations that she does NOT need stitches even though the knife went almost through her hand and she could see a tendon. Shock does funny things to your brain. Stitches came out on Monday, but apparently, they weren't very successful. Good luck keeping the wound closed, Steri-strips.
Then, later in the week, our TV armoire tipped and could have crushed Eric. Luckily my leg broke the fall of the TV. I would take pictures, but it is kind of hard to shave around the abrasion, so I will spare you that one. I don't know why, but that seems grosser to me than a picture of stitches.
Go away, Black Cloud!

Oh Jen! i'm so sorry to hear all of that, I hope some good luck comes your way soon! :)
ouch!!! that is no fun!
ugh. That's awful.
Jen I thought it would look bad but the picture made it seem so much worse. Maybe you should watch some Winnie the Pooh, maybe Eeyore's black cloud will make you feel better ;) I love ya.
Oh my, that looks horrible! I hope it's looking and feling better. Tiff
Ouch. Hope that you have Blue Skies from now on!!
Ouch Jen. That looks painful! Poor thing. If you were my mother, you would believe in the rule of threes. One more injury and your black cloud will be gone! Something to look forward too huh?
PS-I don't believe in the rule of threes. :)
I'm glad you used my "Frankenhand" title. At least I hope that I came up with that one. I've been thinking about you a lot lately. How did you like the Civil Wars?
